SL/R129: AMSOIL Recommendation

AMSOIL Recommendation
Put in 11 quarts of AMSOIL Synthetic European Blend (5W-40) motor oil yesterday. Intially, the car drove very sloppily with the motor louder than it was prior to the oil change. The acceleration also lagged. However, after about 10 miles, everything settled in, and there was a noticeable improvement. The car feels a bit sharper and accelerates a bit harder than before, all in 30 degree weather. I have heard nothing but good things about this oil, reviews from friends in the automotive business and independent tests as well. I'm hoping it will improve some more after another 100 miles or so.

I ordered a case of 12 for $108 shipped. 11 went into the car, and the extra is in the garage in case the SL or my dad's S needs to be topped off. Looks to be pretty good stuff.
