Battery post

Hi folks...Just want to know if there are battery terminal posts under the hood of a '94 SL500? I want to connect a battery charger and I rather not do it in the trunk. Thanks.

Nope. Why you think it is better in the front as oppose in the trunk?

It's not a battery post, but there is a large terminal under the plastic cover shown in the picture. It is in fact terminating point for the cable that runs from the battery to the engine compartment.

Thanks for the replies. It's not that important I charge the battery from the trunk but I sometimes have "junk" in the trunk that I rather not remove. I thought it would be like my BMW 540i which does have a battery terminal under the hood. Thanks again.
