how does this sound?
good deal or what....?
'95 SL500, Black, 8 month old tranny, 143K miles, chrome Carlsson rims (not sure what style but they are nice), new soft top, black hardtop included, all for $15K.
found this at my mechanics shop today when i dropped my car off for service...he is very trustworthy and he said that the car has been very well maintained inside and out....any comments/concerns/things to look for?

if he say all this.....and it true......then it a good deal....... hopefully you will join the R129 family.....in the near future.......good luck....

Price is a little high.
The insulation of the wiring in the engine compartment of years '93 to '95 disintegrate. Very expensive to correct. I would ask your mechanic if the wiring is still original, and if it is, then to check the condition.
