Ebay Auction Claiming Rims Fit 1990 thru 2006 SL's

I didn't think that standard SL rims on the R230 would fit the older R129 models. Is this ebay auctioneer correct?

If so I have 2 different sets of rims for the R230 that I would try on my older SL320.
