removable windscreen

Hi all, I have been trying to locate a removable windscreen that attaches to the rollbar on my 1998 500sl. I have searched MB parts and all that comes up is one that is attached and $475.
Thanks for your input.

That sounds about right for that part. Unless you can find someone on one of the MB forums to sell you one cheaper, your best bet may be to keep an eye out on Ebay as used ones come up once and a while. I'm pretty sure that all of the years of the r129 are interchangeble. Good luck in your search!

Hey - this may be a piercing look at the obvious - but have you checked the compartment in the trunk to make sure you don't already have one?

Just go to www.ebay.de and search for "R129 windschott" and you will find several windscreens for sale.

Is it just me or does that frame look like it came from my bathroom?
