drcolorchip
Yesterday I touched up the many dings on the hood of my 98 BMW 528 using the drcolorchip kit.
The color match was perfect, even with metallic paint, and the overall results look very good. However it will never win a concours. The dings are still there, not very noticeable from a couple of feet, but quite obvious on close inspection. Following the directions did not work for me. "Zipping" off the paint with a rubber gloved finger seemed to remove it all, as did immediate application of the fixing liquid. So I just brushed the product on liberally, let it dry, then later removed the excess with the fixer and polished with the microfiber. Not cheap @$48 w/shipping, but worth it to me. Maybe another application will give better filling.
