SL/R129: Where are the Sun Visors?

Where are the Sun Visors?
Greetings Guys and Gals ~
I recently took delivery of a 99 500SLR Sport and discovered there are no sun visors. The openings have been sealed from the factory to the best of my knowledge. It appears that I could remove the plugs from the holes in the header panel and install visors; assuming that they could be obtained, but at what co$t ?
Anyone else have a similar situation?

Your best bet is visiting a dealer for starters. See if they have a clue.

NO Visors ?!
Well, it turns out this was a special order "factory delete" matter. The orig. owner did not want visors. End of discussion. I'll look for an opportunity to acquire them in the days ahead, but with no sense of urgency.

You are right. They were removed by the prev. owner. Car came from Beverly Hills, so who knows what happened. Will check ebay

You can go to this site, enter your VIN number, and see what options your car was built with: http://www.mbclub.ru/mb/vin/?lng=eng. I'd guess there was no option to delete the visors and that someone customized yours after they took delivery of the vehicle, but I may be wrong.
