The switchover valve for the transmission upshift delay is Y3/3 in the attached picture.

switchover valve for the transmission upshift delay

I have a 1996 SL320. I have an engine fault code of P1700. I checked the transmission upshift delay switchover valve and found no vacuum on the line that runs from the valve along the firewall and down toward the transmission. Upon inspection the end of vacuum line is not attached to anything. Can someone please tell me where this vacuum line is supposed to connect. See picture Y3/3 within the post. Thanks.
