I am planning to buy a 91 SL-320 cuz its the only one I can afford. I was looking at some on eBay. Is the 90 or 91 SL-320 a carburated engine or fuel injected?

... CORRECT ME IF i'M WRONG , I think that both cars are fuel injected. The 90-91 model is a straight 6 compared to the sl320 which is the new v6 model which replaced the bullet proof inline six platform. In my opinion, both will do the job for the buck.

AS as I know, no major issues with this particular model.
The earlier model has a straight 6 and the later on the new v6
Besides issues with the auTo top occasionally, it's a fun car to own!! You have to bare the less torquey ENGINE though.

The 129 was always fuel injected in all variants.

Any problems with the car are more likely to be due to lack of care and attention from previous owners than any series problems. It's essential you go for a car which doesn't look like it's been raced to hell and back and there's lots of evidence of regular (according to schedule) oil changes and other maintenance jobs. If the service book is blank or if the person selling it to you cannot prove this, walk away.

I often find the condition of the interior is a good indicator of how much the car has been loved and cared for. If you get a good example, you'll have lots of fun with it.
