Wheel Gurus help please!

I am really into a set of rims ive found for sale but i dont know if they will work on my 1991 300sl. The wheels are 17"x8" Offset 35 (Front) & 17"x 9" Offset 35 (Rear), Tires are Continental SportContact 2: 225/45/17 (Front) & 245/40/17 (Rear). I dont have much of an issue with wheel spacers since the car is 90% of the time sitting in my garage, but from what I read i'll definately need wheel spacers, so you guys that really know for wheel and tire stuff for R129's...will these even work? if so what do i need to do to make them work.

Thanks in advance.

Originally the car was equipped with 16" 225X55, so yes your 17" is the right size with 45. 8" in front and 9" rear is ok, and ET 35 is also correct. However due to increadibly large front calipers my guess is that you must use spacers. But that should realy be the only reason for using spacers, unless you would like to move the wheels longer out.
