Replacing rear shocks on '02 SL500

I have noticed that my left rear tire comes into contact with the inner fender under certain conditions, i.e. tight right turn with bump in the road. This only occurs on the drivers side and in the rear which makes me believe the shock may have gone bad. Are there any other tell-tale signs to confirm that assessment?

Naturally, I expect everyone here would advise to replace both rear shocks at the same time. Right?

Is that an easy enough job that can be carried out in a garage with the car jacked up (using a hydraulic car jack, not the OEM jack)? What should I be getting? OEM shocks vs. Bilstein's

Hey I had the same issue on my right side a few weeks ago and it was a leaking shock that I had to get replace and if your is the same as mind I would let the dealer do it because no other shop wouldn't even touch it.
