happy to say that my terrific indie mbz mechanic and i usually sit down together in his office when i go to get a quote on a repair, and he surfs the suppliers and wholesalers on the web with me reading the screen beside him.

nothing to hide = quite possibly the best mechanic ever. certainly for the LA area, he's got most of 'em beat hands down.

Hopefully Final Update

After maybe a hundred miles of driving, it appears everything has adjusted and the power is back to it's fullest. I was initially surprised it turned out to be the catalytic converters, because there was virtually no sulfuric odor whatsoever. Nonetheless, this is once again a very fun car to drive.
