How difficult is it the replace the oil pressure sending unit???
My oil pressure gauge is wacky sometimes and the shop told me it's probably the sending unit. They were supposed to replace it last time I had the car in the shop but somehow they screwed up and forgot to do it. I think the part is $60-70 but I'd rather not hassle with the logistics of taking it to the shop for something that is probably really simple to replace.
So if anyone has info on how to replace it so I can do it myself, I'd appreciate the help.

Before you do anything plug / unplug the connector to clean it,
sometimes that is all it needs.
Regards.

Thanks. I will try to clean the connections first. What should be used to clean the connector??? I have some of the electronic cleaner spray that is commonly used to clean dirty rotary controls.
