Over the winter my battery went dead and the radio is requesting a code to reactivate. I have tried entering the code from the operator manual with no success. Is there a secret to reactivating the radio? I have two cards in the operator manual, one labeled "Theft Radio ID Card" and the second "Radio Code Card". I have been entering the theft one with no success, any suggestion??

 

The radio code card should be the one; if no worky call the dealer with your VIN and they should be able to help you out...

 

Read the manual first. I know some of my older MB's required a certain protocol prior to entering the code. I may be wrong but worth a look.
