Torque Requirement for ADS Banjo Fitting

Hi,
I'm new to the forum. I just bought an SL500 with ADS suspension. I replaced the rear suspension air accumulators because they needed to be changed. And now I'm getting a leak from the tube that connects the dampening valve to the drivers side air accumulator. It has a 14mm "banjo fitting" with two copper washers. I've replaced the washers and tightened the fitting when it was leaking slightly, but now it's leaking much more. I know that these fittings should not be overtightened. I've searched the forums and read the V12 Uber Alles web page but I can't find any mention of the correct torque that should be applied. If anyone can provide me this info or point me to a source of info I'd greatly appreciate it.
Thanks,
Dan

My experience is once the lines to the rams(shocks) start to leak you need to replace the lines.

Not expensive new or have a hydrailics shop make up a set.

I'll look this afternnon and see if I have the torque for you just the same.
What year SL?

BENZITCH,
Thanks for the reply, I have a 1991 500SL.
I went out and bought a new fitting, bolt and copper washers from the dealer and made sure sure that everything was aligned. I tightened the bolt to 50Nm (37ft-lbs) which I got from a hydraulics technical manual for the same size banjo bolt. But it's still leaking between the washers. The threads on the valve look OK and it's not leaking there. Do you have the torque value or know what else I can check? I don't want to over-tighten it and damage the valve.
Thanks
