1991 300sl unit above mirror removal,how?
I need to replace the sensor in the OCU above the mirror, I have removed the mirror but it's being held in place on the front somehow. I don't want to break it. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

That maplight assembly is held in place by the mounting bracket for the mirror as well as a screw in each of the recessed areas for the lights. Pop the lights out and you will see the screws.

Thanks for the help on removing the OCM above the mirror. But I think it's missing something. The climate control unit shows 0 deg.c in the test from the inside air temp sensor. How much for your unit if you still have it? I can take a pic and send it to you. But as soon as I start the SL it goes to heat.
