Tranny Tool Stops
I ordered the tranny dipstick tool, because I was getting a "hard" shift from first to second once in a while. It's got 98,000 miles, and I think it may be low on fluid.
The tool stops about 14 inches from bottoming. I've tried pushing while rotating, etc., because the path is very curvy. The tool won't go all the way in.
Is it possible that part of the cap locking mechanism (which releases with the ignition key) is stuck in the tube???
I'm missing a small part of it, but the way the lock is made, I can't imagine how it could get into the tube...
