My left side headlight wiper is screwed up. It never returns to its normal position after use. I have reset the wiper on its shaft a few times, but it never works correctly.
I am not sure I like the look of them at all, and really do not care about missing the functionality as I never drive in the rain, much less slushy snow.
Are they easily removed? Would you have to take the motors and hoses completely out?
Any ideas welcomed!

I believe that there was a recall for that problem (at least there was for my 96 SL500) where the dealer changed out the headlight wiper motor, etc...you might want to look into that.

Do you know if Mercedes will still honor this recall at this date? My 1996 SL320 had the same problem tonight.Originally Posted by Santron
