Goodyear Eagle F1 tires on SL500

I am upgrading my 97 SL500 with 2000 wheels. Anyone had a bad experience running Goodyear Eagles? I suspect they probably will not be as soft as the Michelins I am currently running.

Tire Rack is a sponsor here...https://mbworld.org/forums/wheels-ti...-tire-rack-36/
and hosts it's own Forum. You may want to either pose your question at their forum or visit www.tirerack.com , and you can get user feedback for your specific model and/or specific tire.

I've had them for about three years and haven't had any problems. They replaced Pilot Sports and offer a quieter ride IMO. The tread pattern is more aggressive looking and the tires are actually wider too. They develop flat spots when sitting in the garage for extended periods of time but that quickly goes away after rolling down the road. All in all, I'd buy them again.
