SL/R129: 1999 sl 500 idle speed adjustment

The idle speed is computer-controlled, and there is no provision for adjustment. I don't remember the spec for idle speed, but with the engine warmed-up I'll guess it is around 650 RPM.

The problem I am having is that the car is hard to keep still at redlights, it wants to move forward. Keep in mind I just had the tranny replaced with a guaranteed remanufactured unit. Is there a solution that I can try other than sending the car to the stealer?
