1991 500SL no start.
Hi all,
New to the MB world so please forgive me if I'm asking something that's already been covered elsewhere by someone else.
I'm experiencing a NO START with a 1991 500SL. No spark at all. Cranks over fine, has fuel. New crank sensor installed this morning, has new distributor caps and rotors, new plugs.
I've noticed the insulation on the sensor that is mounted behind the belt tensioner and is situated at the crankshaft pulley. Not sure what that sensor is? But the long pigtail for it has flaked off insulation all over it and it plugs in to the same unit that the crank sensor plugs into.
Anyone have a good wiring diagram available or have any idea where to begin with this NO START thing?
Any help is greatly appreciated!
