Help! Hard top stuck in A pillerlock before I located the rear locating pins!

I have not had my hard top on in years and while carefully lowering it onto the car today made the mistake of locating the front (windscreen latches) first (instead of rear first). They grabbed and now the front latches are engaged and the rears are out of position. The fronts now will not release! I think that I have tried everything but am stumped!! The rear locating pins on the hard top are now about an inch behind thier respective locating "holes" and putting pressure on the bodywork (now protected by some towles).
Any ideas would be truly appreciated !!!!

Help with stuck hard top

There's a tool in the tool-kit especially for if this happens. One side is a spanner head and the other is an Allen key that FITS behind the caps behind the sun visors on both sides to RELEASE the latches... ping - one side... ping - the other side - top off!
