Top is a pain in the...
I'm selling the car, I can't deal with this $5000 and its yours
Anyway, on to the actual topic...
The top will lock/unlock just fine and locks all 4 corners, however, when I let go of the switch, it turns red and you know what that means when you start driving... Abandon ship!
So what I'm wondering is if those guide pins that are next to where the seat sits, have a pressure sensor or something in them to tell if the pins from the (hard top specifically) top is pulled down in its locked position and pushes down on something in there.
If I get time, I think I'll put maybe a 1/4" ball bearing or something in there to test and see if it just isn't hitting that sensor/switch/whatever.
This is driving me nuts. Not very fun to have the hard top on and not be able to use the windows without reconnecting the top computer...
Kudos for useful advice!
