I Think I Have A BIG Problem Plz HELP =[
Well I Recently Bought My SL500 Not Too Long Ago And It Ran Fine
Till One Day I Was Driving The Car Hesitated And The Check Engine Light Went On, but I Drove For Awhile And It Shut Off. Now Im Having Problems When I Come To A Stop And Idle The Idle Just Suddenly Drops And The Car Turns Off So I Have To Throw It Back In Park And Start It Again. And When On The Freeway Ill Floor It And It Would Feel As If The Power Is Being Robbed From It, And It Happens On And Off So I Know What The Power Of The V8 Would Feel Like. Its Also Eating Up Alot Of Gas I Mean ALOT.
Maybe Im Not Getting Fuel? Could It Be The Filter? Or Maybe The Injectors?
I Dont Really Know Much About Mercedes Benz, And Before I Spend Money To Get It Check I Would Like To See What People In The Mercedes World Would Suggest I Do. Please Help And Thanks

How about you go and have the codes pulled first? The crystal ball is in the shop getting a tune-up.
Then we can try and make a more educated guess as to what your car's major malfunction is.
