SL/R129: Help with Bolt size/length

Help with Bolt size/length
I bought a set of AMG Aero II Monoblocks last year for my 1990 Mercedes 500SL (18x8 ET31 fronts and 18x9 ET35 rears). I went to put the rims and tires on today and realised that my stock lugs were too long (for 16 inch factory rims).
Being that this is a common setup with many people replacing stock rims on the earlier R129 Mercedes with the Monoblocks, does anyone know what the proper lug size/dimension that is required?
Thanks in advance for the help.

Now measure the lenth of the bolt that sticks out the back side.
It needs to be 17 to 20 mm. So if you measure 25 mm for example, then you need to order new bolts that have a shank length about 5 to 8 mm shorter..
