SL/R129: 92 SL roll bar

92 SL roll bar
I have a 1992 500 SL. The roll bar seems to have a mind of its own . Fluid is full and the levelers are in the proper position. It won't go down and moves on it's own. Is their a way to re set its memory or sequence?
