Ok Here's where I'm,,, at,,My 4 interior lights come on when the passenger door is opened, but do not when the driver door opens & it is not the door switch. I was working on the drivers door Light and shorted the door lamp when inserting it. No blown fuses under the hood or in trunk. Also, the mirror/dome light does come on with The Remote
This is an old problem.
Furthermore, the power seats no longer work when the drivers door is open, only when the key is in place. "The problems are related"
Tell Me The Answer Is It The K24 relay under the hood or the module (N2/4)
Module part # 012 545 68 32
Behind pass Air Bag ?
And My Alarm Don't Work.
Thank You

Sounds like mine; it was the seat belt warning module, behind the airbag.
I suspect that you also notice that the buzzer that alerts you to leaving the key in the ignition also doesn't work.

Only Thing Wrong Is The Left Side Int Lights On Door Bottem And Under Dash Don't Work, And Seat Don't Work With Door Open Key Out Of Ign, And Thats It.
I Am Really Stumped On This One , And All Fuses Are Fine Under Hood And In Trunk
Thank You For Your Info

When I replaced mine, the part # was 004 545 07 32 through Autohausz.
This was for 1994 SL500
I disconnected the battery, but had the code for the radio, making it easy.
IIRC, there's a little slack in the wires for the airbag, but much safer to disconnect the battery.
To remove airbag, it's a 10mm bolt accessed through a little cover under dash; you'll need a thin wall socket and long extension; then it's a snap!
