Anyone have a line on a good source for maintenance and service tech books for the SL320.
Mine is a 1996 SL320
I bought a CD on Ebay but find it difficult to access the information I need when I need it...

About the dvd you got from ebay...was it the single disk dvd Star Service - Service Manual Library that has a p/n of P-2700-129-04? If so, I can point you to the directions on how to get this to run on XP and 7.
To my knowledge, there are no paper manuals available for the 129's from MB. Haynes may have come up with one, but I've never seen it.

not sure about the disk, I have to find it and see the information on it...
it seems very indepth, written in German and then at times in English but I can't seem to get the swing of using it to find information...

If it's partially in German, this isn't the DVD that I've got instructions on how to load and run. Good Hunting for a better answer to your problem-

ps-if all else fails, you can buy a subscription at www.alldatadiy.com for your car. Info is model specific and generally pretty good. Subscriptions run about $20/yr.
