2000 SL600R. HAVING ISSUES WITH HYDRAULIC'S FOR TOP BEGINNING TO GO BAD AND LEAK. HAVE REPLACED 2 ALREADY AT A HEAVY EXPENCE. ARE THEY REBUILDABLE? OEM REPLACEMENTS LESS THAN THE DEALER? PLEASE HELP!

Sounds odd – You have replaced two cylinders you say …. Something is wrong since it should not be an issue. Maybe you should question your MB dealer why this is happing.

This link, https://mbworld.org/forums/sl-class-...der-sl500.html , should take you to an existing thread where this topic and the names/contact info for the rebuilders (I favor Dennis Ficken, but make your own determination) the cylinders can be rebuilt for around $50@, + shipping, warranteed for 3 years, etc.
Should the link not work, use the search tool found at the top, right-center of this page in the gray bar. Select 'Advanced Search' and type in the words, 'Hydraulic Cylinder'. The tool will display all that has been written about this topic. Read down the right side for posts in the '129' forum to save some time.
