Integrated phone in 1995 sl500
Hi Forum,
i just picked up my "new to me" 1995 sl500 yesterday and I'm looking to see if my year has a blue tooth adapter to allow the integrated phone functions to pair with my cell phone. I have seen posts for the newer R129s but nothing mentions the middle range years like mine. Any help you can provide is greatly appreciated as I'd like to use this functionality if possible. Thanks in advance!!

I have been advised that my 94 cell in the SL600 is off the network.
the analogue phone of that era, (old cell phones ) is not up to current US standards, so upgrade is replacement.
I have the old system still in its old space but the Iphone is in a pocket with blue tooth connected when I want to use the phone. My car is almost always open and yes the noise is an issue, but the screen, windows up and me sitting low in the driver seat makes it usable.

Bluetooth for ANY Mercedes didn't arrive until around 2005.
It is retrofittable back to around 2000 only, i.e. with a V60-emulater puck or a more direct-wired version of same. This retrofit requires additional new digital equipment to replace analog equipment in 2000-2004 cars.
Bluetooth itself was invented in 1994.
