When I turn on the headlights of my 2001 R129 SL500, the headlight washer pump runs the washer fluid reservoir dry. With the headlights off, the pump doesn't run. I am expecting it may be in the steering column switch, but hope it is a fuse. I can't seem to find a fuse diagram for the car. So I need (1.) diagnosis of the likely cause for my problem, and (2.) a place where I can find a fuse diagram, so I can see if there is a fuse issue.

If there is a separate fuse for the headlight washers, I'll just pull that sucker out and solve the problem that way.

Either unplug the passenger side wiper motor for the headlamps or just disconnect the washer pump for the headlamps at the reservoir.
