Silver Arrow Prices
I'd say the car would be well-bought at $25K to $30K if it had impeccable, documented service history, no condition issues, new or nearly new tires, The SA aluminum briefcase kit, and everything works! More than $30K is trying to make the car something it's not - MB made over 1000 of the SL500 Silver Arrows and most came to the states.
I have an SL600 Silver Arrow - love it - and (fingers crossed) it's actually been reasonably trouble free up to the current 62K miles. But, it seems the V-12's command little or no premium over the V-8 Silver arrows on re-sale - sometimes even a liability (yes - if something does go wrong, it could be $1,000's to put right on a V-12).
