My ambient temperature guage reads negative 36 degrees F. I just had some body work done on front bumper. What is the problem and is it easy to fix?

Make sure the temperature probe is in the bumper and wasn't forgotten to be installed. If it's there, check to make sure the cable is connected. If the bumper work was the only work performed, then it should be straight-forward.

One of my sensors will read SC for "short circuit" when not connected, not sure it was is a MB! When the SL was reading "not even close" the probe was not in the slates of the lower part of the front bumper cover. I hope the Holiday season is not that cold for New Jersey!
