1997 SL600 Stero Sound Irregularities
Lately, my SL600 (1997) factory stereo has been misbehaving. I am wondering if anyone of you have had similar issues.
On/off no problem, it is just that it seems like there is somekind of connection problems or something wornout whereby sound comes out from only left side and then it goes back to normal. Back and forth like that. Also, the on/off & volume control knob is not working propery whereby when I try to adjust volumes, it is not responding well. It is the original factory unit, I believe a Panasonic unit w/ Bose system.
Any comments would be appreciated. Thanx in advance.

my 94 had issues with the volume control knob, so a cleaning spray helped. Also I went with a new head unit with all the modern stuff ( USB, Sirius, SAT, iPhone ) all the stuff is too distracting for an old Doc, I may replace the original unit!!!

My 97 has a fuzzy left channel then it clears up as I increase the volume.
@ 1st I thought I had blown a speaker, but it's the amp. It appears to be a common problem.
I am just going to upgrade the system with new everything.
