Battery light - ON and OFF
I have a 1994 SL600 with an odd battery light issue.
Last night my battery light came on. I drove the car for a couple minutes and the battery light went off. After a few more miles the light returned.
Today, I started the car and the battery light was off. After driving for a few hours, the battery light returned. After pressing hard on the accelerator, the light would go off. When I stopped accelerating hard, the light would return. This is not a 100% correlation as there were times the light did not go off and I was at wide open throttle.
I just started the car about an hour ago and the light is off.
Any ideas? I made sure the battery and the wires connected to the positive terminal are connected tight.

If it were my car, I'd start with a battery test under load; then look toward measuring alternator output. What you're describing though reads like the voltage regulator as probable cause.
