Steering Vibration

Hey Guys,

Some time ago, I ran over a tire at around 50 mph. I hit it so hard which cause my car to lift and , my roll bar to deploy. It also stripped away my engine shield.

I've since had a aligment and both wheel balanced, but can't get rid of the vibration at around 50 mph. Are there any other components on the front suspension that might have gotten damaged or could cause vibration. Thanks!

Have all your front bushings and ball joints inspected. With the age of the car (like SL) you probably had a couple bushings that were marginal. The severe jarring from running over the tire may have further damaged one or more. But an alignment without a bushing inspection may not catch those.
Cheers,
Jeff
