Selling champagne and silver pano tops
kedocom,
welcome to the forum! The pricing on pano tops may have some folks gasping for air, yet you are right on with your asking price. I have seen them selling higher on eBay. Whoever finds one cheaper, is really lucky. I might be inviting criticism here, because bargain hunters can sometimes find them cheaper. However, it appears to me that panoramic top prices are only inching up with time.
We have had a really long and rainy Winter here in the Pacific Northwest, and I have taken my pano top off only yesterday. Over here, with a 6-months long rainy season, the pano top makes all the difference, and I can see how it can be a blessing for those who are forced to have the top up over Summer on account of needing to run the A/C.
I am not selling the panos off my family's daily drivers, but have two more panos for sale off of parts cars that I haven't advertised before:
Excellent condition Brilliant Silver Panoramic Top off a '98, with roller shade and 265A Mushroom interior, located in Phoenix, AZ ($3,500 local pick-up, or $3,000 trade for plain hardtop)
Gold/Champagne off a '98, with roller shade and 265A Mushroom interior, located in Florence, OR. This one has some blemishes on the paint and shows some wear on the rubber, but it seals well. Tinted side and rear windows; $2,800 picked up or $3,500 shipped in a crate anywhere in the lower 48 states. Photos below.
(I am asking going market prices for the pano tops because they are one-offs and not part of our regular business.)
