FS:1990 Mercedes 300SL - Westchester, NY
Selling my 1990 r129 Roadster
Asking price $5000.
Also let me start by saying that the car has a Rebuilt Title...and it does not affect the way that the car runs and drives
It is Currently Registered and i have the Title in Hand
The car as you can see in the pics has a removable hardtop and the convertible canvas its self is in very good condition with the exception of 2 small rips which i have covered so it doesn't leak inside i also treat it with water proofing solution.
I also have the OEM 16inch rims that are also included in the sale alone with the 20inch ones that are currently on the car.
The car has 137.000 miles on it and just drove it back up from Florida for the 3rd time so the car is here in NY, that sould tell you a little something about how reliable the car is if im taking trips like that.
Yes the Instrument Cluster works.
Ice cold AC
V6 Engine
Tranny is solid no issues no leaks at all
NO Rust on the car
Clear Corners
HID's
I re-sprayed the Clear Coat on the the car about 5 mths ago
Ok So Maintenance Wise What Has Been Done To The Car
-Oil change every 3000 miles
-Full tune up about 90 days ago
-All 3 Drive shaft Flex Disc's where replaced 1 week ago
-2 engine mounts Replaced 30 days ago
-Transmission Mount Replaced 30 days ago
-Front and Rear brakes Replaced 30 days ago
Issues With The Car
-The convertible top does work but leaks from 1 of the hydraulics seals
-Power windows stopped working
-The car sometimes does not turn on when it is in Park, but will start if you put it in Neutral,,,(Found out the problem is bad or out of adjustment neutral safety switch)
-NON of this problems have affected the performance of the car in any way.
-Drivers seat has a 2 inch whole on the lower bolster as many of these cars have the same issue
