Like many of you, my visors were missing their covers and/or were discolored to the point of being an embarrassment. I removed the light/mirror as well as the inside shell. Then cut foam to fit in the shell and covered it with a black vinyl (my interior is grey). I took my time adhering the vinyl with contact cement and payed particular attention to the corners. Then used contact cement to adhere the shell back in both visors. It really looks great and I ended-up spending $10 vs. $700. Who really uses the mirrors anyway?

very smart fix. this will some in handy to many people who dont want to spend a ton of money for something no one really uses. thanks for the tip on fixing the visors.
