SL/R129: are these mirrors possible?

are these mirrors possible?
is it possible to put these mirrors onto my 1995 SL 500? they say they will work but has anyone ever tried them or used them by any chance?

this is what my current mirrors look like. they are the original 1995 SL mirrors. straight from the factory.

my attempt to modernize my 94 has lead me to LED arrow light pattern slipped under the plastic mount for the glass mirror. ("ijToy", led lights about $ 14. for a set )
The mirror shell on E-Bay does fit the last of the R129 and R170 series but not the square structure our cars have. I feel a good body mechanic could refit the modern R230-1 mirror with all of its factors to be rewired.
It may be as easy to buy a car with these features, rather than re-engineer!
