I have a 1995 sl 500 with a fuel line problem. This car has a fuel filter near the rear wheel on the passenger side. I had the fuel line rupture between the pump and the filter. Replaced the line with a new one such as I would use on any other car and after 100 miles this one also split. The car has the type of filter that has the nipple ends a fuel line slides onto. It is not the filter with the screw on ends.
My question is this, does this nile need to be some special higher pressure line? If so where can I buy this line besides a MB dealer? Thanks!.
