Post Voltage Regulator Replaced but......

Since last week, I have been working to resolve the mystery behind the massive battery drain.......I have no battey warning indicator.

I was advised the to get the voltage regulator and carbon brush replace. I charged the weak battery and got the VR and replaced it last night. the engine runs no warning indicator poping ups to show any malfunctions...When tested the battery, voltmeter reading at batt terminal 11.78V with engine running, I should be be expecting mere like 12.5V at this condition, correct? when I swithched off the engine the voltage at terminal reads 11.94V. I Did the current drain test, it reads 0.01mA?. But this morning the engine could not start.

Doesn't look 0.01mA leak will drain the battery within 7hrs to give terminal volt 10.5V this morning.

What could be the invinvible beast that sucked that load of energy. Any tought before I replace the Alternator?

You should probably test the alt first then replace as necessary. 11.78v sounds really low. Normal should be in the mid 13v range.
