Dome Light Assembly Removal
Can some one guide me (pictures, step-by-steps) through removing my Dome Light Assembly? I want to start with replacing the switch that controls the dome lights with the door. If this does not fix my problem, I wan
t to replace the whole assembly.

I have removed the interior rear view mirror and changed the interior light in my 600. The access for the windshield lights are there. The mirror is a spring loaded attachment, so that the mirror is a "break away". Once you have the mirror un-sprung there are wire connectors. I remember 2 or 3 threaded fasteners, then the plastic housing can be removed. The door switch is in the door frame post.
I used a video to to learn the first access, but have not seen recently. Good luck

Yes, as long as the spring connector was not broken. I normally launch into the "old plastic" reminder, so often I order new plastic to replace the removed, but MB does not give the parts away, so expect expensive!
