96 SL 500 Pass Side Window Won't Drop, Help Please
Ok Here Is My Story
I Replaced My Battery With One From The Dealer, Then A Week Later My 2 Top Cyl On The Windshield Was Leaking So I Had Dennis Rebuild Them, Everything Went Fine , No Problems I Was Done.

A Week Later My Battery Went Dead, So I Recharged It Up, Cycled The Top A Few Times The First 2 Times The Windshield Did Not Unlock, But 3,4,5,6 Did Open Fine.

Now My Pass Window Won't Drop The Few Inches When You Open The Door, Also My Doors Don't Lock When I Take Off ?
I Checked The Car For Codes And Found Nothing

Since I have read your work in the past, I have assumed you did the window pairing. ( both window switches held while the windows move, and then holding the switches for 10 seconds longer after window stopped in the up or down position.) Could a wire be disconnected or the window switch gone bad?

Well Everything Works Ok Windows up down top up down Roll Bar Up Down, Drivers Door Drops The 1 Inch When Open But Pass Door Don't , I Did All The Resets To Windows And Door Locks , But Nothing Worked.

This All Happened When I Put In A New Battery Neg- Off Then Pos+ Off .

I Did Not Notice That The Pass Window Did Not Drop , Till The Battery Went Dead , I Did Not Disconnect The Battery When I Charged It But Pos+Hook Up Then Neg- Hook Up

But Now The Pass Window Don't Drop AND The Doors Don't Look On Take Pull Away

Yes I Done All That , I Really Dont Think That The Switch Is Bad, Because Everything Works Just Fine Windows Up & Down

It could be the micro switch inside the door has gone bad. But before you go taking the door apart try spraying some WD-40 into the lock mechanism on the side of the door. This worked for me in solving the no drop problem.

Well I Disconected The Batt - Cable And Put It Back And The Window Now Works Ok Now, But I Lost My HeadLights ? WTF

check your door switch that recognizes the door open or closed

OK I Got My Windows Drop Working On The Pass Side, By Disconecting The Neg Battery Post For 10 Min And Putting It Back, Works Fine Now.

Next Help Question My Door Lock Don't Lock When I Put It In Drive And Take Off, I Did The Reset By Putting Key On #2 And Pussing And Holding The Upper Part Of The Lock Switch And It Still Don't Work ?
I Really Can Use Some HELP Here
