Cruise Control on 97 SL 500
I was wondering if anyone has had this happen.
The cruise control works fine up to 58mph!
Anything higher than 58mph and it will not set.
I believe it will accelerate past 58mph using the cruise but again, will not set above 58mph.
Tires are 245/45/18 rear and 245/40/18 front.

Is the tire size mis match (40 to 45 profile ) large enough to be in the 2% sensitivity of the wheel rotation sensor?
