SL/R129: 1998 SL500

1998 SL500
Recently purchased 1998 SL500. In need of sun visors, or just the mirrors and outside corner trim piece where visor mounts. Also need knob for adjusting center AC vent. Anybody have any suggestions?

A benz dealer will be the most expensive. the other online benz outfits next and autohaus will be lower. I always buy the OEM for the plastic and interior stuff so it will be authentic.

I don't think they sell the thumb tab for the AC separately so you could either buy the whole thing or make one yourself (or steal one from your friends if you could 
)
The visor covers are
SUN VISOR COVER RIGHT 129 811 06 61 xxxx
SUN VISOR COVER LEFT 129 811 05 61 xxxx
You need to provide the xxxx with the correct color of yours. They are about $40 apiece.
Sun visors: they are extremely expensive at the dealer (9 years ago, they charged $700 apiece so god knows how much it costs nowaday). You can watchout for ebay and local ads. Some sites list them for a bit less but it's still too much for a visor that does nothing for the R129 (they are too small and never blocking no sun anyway)
