More spark plug info
Mercedes now recommends the Beru P/N 14FGH-8DPURX2 (!!!!) plugs for the late 119's in a 1998 SL500. These plugs have reduced rather than full resistance in them at 1300 ohms rather than the standard 3.5K or 5K resistance. There are now getting more and more people that are having ignition module problems with any (meaning cheap) resistor plugs such an NGK, Denso, etc. I got the price down to $8.75 ea at the US distributor for Beru (Beruparts.com) so I am going with the MB recommended parts.
