1992 MB 300sl R129
AC. Has only one fan speed
My 92 300sl 129 has developed a new problem. The first time I needed the ac his year it decided it needed only the slow speed. Can anyone point me toward a fix?

Is the Automatic square lite? that is when the fan speed is sensitive to the air temp in the cab. Fan speed and heat or cooling are the auto functions. A thermo sensor within the blower housing could be an issue.
If you operate the fan with the "fan speed" buttons, does the motor sound different? If so, the sensor or port deflector may be the issue. Vac or wiring may be problem
Where is the air movement coming from? Other dash air tracks should be observed to make certain they are open for the air movement.
There are "blue stickies" where your blower issue have already been explored. Often the test issues and access to the hoses, control modules and wiring faults are outlined with photos. Good luck!
