1993 mercedes 500sl
overheating
I am having an overheating problem. I have changed hoses, thermostat,
flushed radiator, checked for head gasket leaks and head cracks, water pump working. Any ideas? Bob

When does it overheat sitting in the driveway running down the highway
a/c on or off

Where in the World are you? Your list and the forum questions sound complete.
In Kansas the radiator fins can become "gunked" with cottonwood fluff. When I have dismantled the engine bay on barn finds I have always been startled with all the "crap" that doesn't clean out with a car wash!
