92 500SL Brake Bleed

Today I replaced front rotors/pads. When attempting to bleed the brakes I am not getting brake fluid to the left front...ran out of time to do right front yet.
Any idea why I am not getting fluid to bleed from bleeder? Is pressure bleeder a necessity in order to do bleeding successfully...

Thank!

sounds like a blockage, pinched hose, bleeder obstructed. You did open the bleeder several rounds to ensure that it was open enough, right? the bleeder doesn't have a very large orifice to flow through so it may be blocked. Good luck

i did completely remove the bleeder valve and was able to blow thru it...
we ended up disassembling the caliper and not getting brake fluid through to the calipers at all when disassembled either...

Wow, sounds like you have done some homework. But, you still have some to do, too. Do you think the tubing from the master cylinder is flattened? Or maybe the master cylinder may have an orifice plugged? Maybe you could put a blow nozzle in the tubing and give it a backward blow. If it did come open it might make a mess through the MC but it might be worth the effort. Please let us know how you solve your problem ...
Thx.
Randy
